KUCHING: Smart Reader Worldwide received awards from the World Confederation of Businesses (WorldCob) and the Malaysia Canada Business Council (MCBC) recently.
Smart Reader received the ‘Inspirational Company’ award during the BIZZ 2017 organised by WorldCob in Bucharest, Romania and ‘The Outstanding Leader in Early Childhood Education’ during the Business Excellence Awards (BEA)2017 by MCBC in Kuala Lumpur.
“The internationally-acclaimed programmes by Smart Reader Worldwide have thus far benefitted over one million children across the globe to date across more than 450 centres globally, with branches in Australia, Brunei, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines and United Arab Emirates with further plans to venture into Qatar and Nigeria,” said a press release yesterday.
Smart Reader Worldwide group executive director Datin Sri Datuk Dr KH Wang was conferred the ‘World Education Leader’ at BIZZ 2017 and ‘The Most Illustrious Woman Entrepreneur in Early Childhood Education’ in the BEA 2017.
“With a vision and passion to provide educational institutions for the children of Malaysia, Wang co-founded and developed Smart Reader Kids and developed it into what it is today.
“Referred to as the woman entrepreneur who has won the most number of awards in Malaysia according to the Malaysia Book of Records, Wang has dedicated her career to ensure all children have equal access and opportunity to preschool education.
“Further, she has recently been accredited as an approved lecturer and trainer in early childhood education and care, which is recognised by the Australian Qualification Framework, opening up further opportunities to expand the Smart Reader brand and fraternity in Australia,” said the press release.
