Ushering in the Year of the Rat, Kenny Rogers Roasters (KRR) had a heart-warming Chinese New Year (CNY) celebration with 23 residents of Siri Jayanti Metta Care Centre yesterday.
The KRR team prepared several activities to entertain the elderly folks.
The event kicked off with a CNY-themed colouring session, followed by a lively karaoke sing-along session with catchy festive tunes.Everyone had the opportunity to relive some classic favourites for the CNY season such as ‘Gong Xi Gong Xi’ (Good Wishes) and ‘He Xin Nian’ (Greetings to the New Year).
“Celebrating the festive occasion is significant to welcome a fresh new year for good health, good luck, and happiness. As such, we welcomed the Year of the Rat with elderly folks through a series of activities to warm their hearts.
