On 1 December 2021, Persatuan Francais Malaysia (MFA) and Ministry of Domestic Trades and Consumers Affairs (KPDNHEP) had just commenced their 23rd “ANUGERAH FRANCAIS MALAYSIA” (MAF 2021) alongside with 13 award categories to be given to local and international franchisee. The award ceremony was graced by our Prime Minister, YAB Dato’ Sri Ismail Sabri bin Yaakob.
Global Art & Creative Sdn Bhd (Global Art) was crowned as the best franchise as they won the “Anugerah Francais Terbaik 2021” award together with “Francaisor Terbaik” and “Inovasi Francais Terbaik”. Big names like Marrybrown, Tealive, Manhattan Fish Market and 7-Eleven managed to bring home a few awards on their end.
Prime Minister, YAB Dato’ Sri Ismail Sabri bin Yaakob believes MAF made the right call to appreciate and give recognition to successful franchisee. With this, it motivates other sustainable franchise businesses to put in more efforts in competing in this award which leads to a very competitive environment for the franchise industry.
As he said “I believe that every success and achievement should be appreciated and recognized in order to encourage franchisee to continue to advance in the field being ventured into.”
It is also announced that during MAF2021, UTEM’s Apaimobile had won the “Cabaran Niaga Francais” by “Program Francais Siswa 2021” will be a part of the 2021 initiative of “Program Francais Mikro dan Francais Mampu Milik”.
Ministry of Domestic Trades and Consumers Affairs, Dato Sri Alexander Nanta Linggi, Deputy Minister of Domestic Trades and Consumers Affairs, Dato’ Rosol Wahid, Chief Secretary of Domestic Trades and Consumers Affairs, Dato Seri Hasnol Zam Zam and President MFA, Datuk Dr. Radzali Hassan also attended the award ceremony.
