Global Art and Creative Sdn Bhd (Global Art) was presented with the 2019 Best Franchise award by the Malaysian Franchise Association (MFA) at the Malaysia Franchise Awards last night.
The company’s chief executive officer, Mahair Goh, received a trophy and certificate from Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Minister, Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail, with MFA chairman, Datuk Dr Radzali Hassan, looking on.
Saifuddin also awarded winners from 16 other categories that included two new ones: Best Journalist 2019 won by Siti Hanila Bowhani from Radio Television Malaysia (RTM) and Best (Student) Franchise Business Plan 2019 won by Universiti Malaysia Kelantan (UMK).
“This prestigious event reflects the commitment to improve quality, as well as the positive growth in franchise businesses,” he said while adding the awards are the highest local franchise industry honour for members.
Picked out of 35 finalists, this is Global Art’s second win in a row for the above-mentioned award, while also picking up the Best Franchisor, Best International Franchisor (Asia Pacific) and Best Franchise Innovation awards this time.
