We refer to the above mentioned program, the Malaysian Franchise Association once again will conduct a specialized discussion session designed specifically for FRANCHISOR / MASTER FRANCHISEE and especially the members of the association.
The “Teh Tarik Session” will be on 27th August 2015 (Thursday). Through this discussion, we will highlight some topics which are Trade Mission Programs available by KPDNKK and Enhanced Franchise Development Program (EFDP). EFDP is an enhancement program for the existing Franchise Development Program (FDP). The prime focus of EFDP will be on to nurture and encourage more franchise exports to foreign countries. During the 2015 Budget speech, the Prime Minister Y.A.B. Dato’ Sri Mohd. Najib Tun Abdul Razak, announced a RM20 million budget allocation for Franchise Development Scheme or EFDP to be implemented by MDTCC and MFA. Under this program, the allocation will focus on financial assistance on Intellectual Property (IP) registration and Franchise Agreement, pre-market entry market research, training programs and other types of assistance.
