On last Monday, MFA had just received an courtesy visit from Korea International Trade Association (KITA) from Korea at MFA Office.
For info, KITA was established in 1946 with the objective of advancing the Korea economy through trade, and is currently the largest business organization in Korea with over 71,000 member companies. Representing the interests of Korea’s global traders, KITA serves a diverse range of roles including: providing hands-on support to trade companies, drawing trade cooperation from the private sector, formulating new trade strategies, nutrturing trade professionals and building trade infrastructure. With a widely established network of 11 domestic offices and 8 overseas branches in major cities, KITA has building trade infrastructure.
The objective of this courtesy visit is particularly to discuss on future cooperation, in enhancing business matchmaking services between the respective private sectors. The representatives from KITA, Ms Ara Cho and Mr Parker Park are on their business trip in Kuala Lumpur. MFA has been attended by The Secretary General, Mohamad Shukri Salleh, Mr Zainudin Zakaria and Ms Nurul Asyiha Husin.
