Anytime Fitness is the first U.S. fitness franchise to be granted a license to franchise in China, a market where 99 percent of the population does not belong to a fitness facility.
Anytime Fitness already has seven facilities open in China, including this one in Xian, but it plans to open 300 to 500 more clubs by 2020 now that it has been granted a licensing agreement by the Chinese government.
